Thank You, Veterans!

By: PERIMETER School Students

Perimeter School will continue our 27-year tradition of students and faculty expressing appreciation to veterans for their service at the Perimeter School Veterans Celebration this Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 9:30 AM. We hope that you will join us in-person or online!

In preparation for the event, our students have written essays of appreciation for those who have served our country. We are excited to share some of their words with you.

Thank you, veterans!

“The thought of our soldiers fighting in battles and sacrificing their lives for us so that we can stay safe and live in a free country makes me feel really, really thankful for everything they do.

Joshua 1:9 says ‘Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be frightened and do not be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go.’

This verse makes me think of how brave soldiers are. I want them to know that it’s okay to be afraid or sad but that God is with them wherever they go. God is keeping you safe just like you keep us safe. That will never change. Thank you so much for keeping us safe! ”
