Uniforms

Click here to view the 2024-2025 dress code.

You may order Perimeter School uniforms through Lands’ End.

P.E. uniforms, hooded sweatshirts, and ties/bowties may be purchased through the school webstore.

New this year, we will not have a Used Uniform Sale in August. Use the Perimeter School Covenant Family Facebook page and the Perimeter School Marketplace Facebook page to donate, buy, and sell used uniforms.

SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS

Summer assignments are listed in the Rising Grade Level Information along with other important resources. If you have not received your student’s summer reading book, you may pick it up in the Elementary Office.

Students are responsible for completing summer assignments before the first day of school, Monday, August 12, unless another date is specified on their assignments.

SCHOOL SUPPLies

If you ordered pre-packaged school supplies, your supply kits will be delivered to your home before the first day of school.

Please note that not all items on each grade’s supply list can be purchased as part of the prepackaged kit. Some items will need to be purchased separately. Check your student’s supply list here for these items.

Contact Carolyn Case with any questions.

LUNCH ORDERS

Students in grades 3-8 and Adventure should bring their lunches to school. As optional school fundraisers, pizza will be offered every Tuesday (beginning August 13) and Chick-fil-A will be offered every Thursday (beginning August 15).

Go to Family Portal > School > Web Forms for pricing information and to order by Tuesday, August 6. You can also access the form in the Perimeter School app.

New this year, we are offering a choice between cheese and pepperoni pizza as well as a choice between a Chick-fil-A sandwich and Chick-fil-A nuggets. Please keep in mind that you are choosing for the entire school year.

If you sign up for pizza, Chick-fil-A, or both this semester, you will automatically be included for next semester. You may contact Kelly Wernick with any changes in December. Each semester (August - December) and (January - May) will be billed separately. Prices listed on the web form are per semester.

In addition, you may order lunch for your students through the Atrium Café and have it delivered to the appropriate school office. Again this year, you may only order from the Atrium Café student menu. Please note that items on this menu are the only Atrium Café items available to students before or during school hours. Click here to order.

Carline Instructions AND Procedures

Click here for carline instructions and here for a carline map. Students may be dropped off between 7:45 - 8:05 AM and picked up from 12:15 - 12:30 PM or 3:15 - 3:30 PM. Students dropped off before 8:05 AM should go to their morning rooms: Atrium (grades K-PF), Midtown Auditorium (grades 1-2), Depot (grades 3-5), and Gym (grades 6-8).

Please make sure your students know on which side of the barricade they will be picked up at 3:15 PM carline.

NAME BADGES

As a Perimeter School parent, you are required to wear your name badge whenever you are on campus to identify yourself inside the building. New this year, as an additional layer of security, parents can only gain access to school hallways by using the camera at each office entrance to call the school office and be buzzed in. Parent badges can no longer be swiped to access school hallways.

If you have lost your badge, please contact Amy Adkison. Replacement badges are $10 and will be billed through FACTS.

New Perimeter School parents, you may pick up your badges at the Back-to-School Coffee on the first day of school if you have not received them already.

Ministry Safe Training

The care and safety of your covenant child are of utmost importance to us at Perimeter School. That’s why Perimeter Church has enlisted the help of an organization called Ministry Safe to train all staff and volunteers to protect children. As a parent at Perimeter School, you have committed to being a teacher/volunteer in your child’s class and are required to complete Ministry Safe training. If you receive one or more emails regarding Ministry Safe, please know that each email contains a seperate link for an item that needs to be completed as soon as you are notified.

It is important to note that there are periodic times that parents will need to renew portions of this program, so even if you have completed Ministry Safe training in the past, there may be pieces that need to be updated.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IN FACTS

If your credit card expires, please update your card information in FACTS.

Medical Screenings

When your student has a wellness check-up, Perimeter School recommends that you include a vision/hearing screening.

If your child has medication or special medical needs such as allergies or asthma, please download and complete a copy of the required forms in the medical section of the Helpful Resources page and turn them in to the clinic (along with any medication) during the first week of school.

CAR Magnets

We encourage you to put a Perimeter School magnet on each of your vehicles to show your membership in our covenant family! Also, this helps us better identify Perimeter School vehicles in carline. Magnets are available in both school offices.

GEORGIA GOAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

GOAL is now accepting tax credit applications for 2025. Sign up now to help make it possible for students who qualify to receive a covenant education at Perimeter School. Based on early activity, it is certain that the GOAL tax credit cap will be met and exceeded on the first day in 2025, just as it was this year (i.e. your tax credit will be prorated again this year).

Businesses click here to take advantage of remarkable state and federal tax benefits and help support students at Perimeter School.

EQUIPPING

At Perimeter School, our purpose is to educate and equip generations of students and families to glorify God and pursue kingdom flourishing.

And stay tuned for opportunities throughout the year to be equipped as you fulfill your calling to love, serve, and lead your family.

P.E. INFORMATION

Students in grades 3-8 will participate in P.E.

Grade 3 - 1 day per week
Grade 4-8 - 2 days per week

The first week of school will be an orientation, and the swimming unit will begin the week of August 19.

Third grade students should wear P.E. clothes to school on P.E. days (all other grades will bring their P.E. clothes to school and change before P.E.). For the swimming unit, students should bring their swimsuits, towels, and goggles (if needed) to school in a separate bag. Students are allowed to wear swim caps. Sunscreen should be applied before coming to school. Students will not have the opportunity to shower after swimming but may bring a hairbrush to brush their hair out afterward.

PERIMETER SCHOOL SOCIAL MEDIA

Follow the Perimeter School Facebook and Perimeter School Instagram pages for equipping, alumni stories, and more as we prepare to start a new school year!

Join the Perimeter School Covenant Family Facebook page and the Perimeter School Marketplace Facebook page. These are private Facebook groups for Perimeter School families monitored by the School Ministry Team (SMT). These groups provide a private forum for greater fellowship for our covenant community and a place to buy, sell, and donate used uniforms.

Honors reading Information

It is our hope and prayer that students and families who participate in this program will discover the riches of reading what Charlotte Mason called “living books - those that we should not miss in order to enrich our lives.”

If your student would like to participate in the Honors Reading Program, the 2024-2025 Honors Reading instructions are available here along with forms to track his/her progress.

Contact Barbara Beach with any questions.

DRAMA News

We are happy to announce that the fall play will be Mystery at Whimbowly Manor! When Lady White's diamond necklace disappears after a dinner party, a police detective is called in to find out where the prized possession has gone. The case seems simple enough to Lady White's husband and daughter, but when bumbling detective Bradley Baxter arrives and sends the household into disorder and frustration, the case becomes anything but simple.

Auditions for the fall play will be held on Wednesday, August 21, and Thursday, August 22, for students in grades 5-8. Click here to sign up to audition and here to fill out the permission form.

Audition materials (audition scenes, character descriptions, calendar information, etc.) can be found here. Please be prepared to read from these scenes for the audition.

Stay tuned for more information about the spring musical!

New this year, auditions for the fall play and spring musical will be held separately for students in grades 5-8, but students may audition for both. Just as an athlete might be good at basketball and baseball, so might an actor be gifted for a play (in this case, a comedy) and a musical. We will celebrate those students who have strength in both areas, which means it is quite possible to be cast in both shows this year!

Contact Vicky Ryden with any questions.

athletics News

If your grade 5-8 student is interested in Perimeter Athletics for the 2024-2025 school year, click here to fill out the athletics interest form.

Visit the Athletics page for more information. Contact Park Jeans with any questions.

BALLET

Perimeter Ballet (a ministry of Perimeter Church) offers weekly classes that take place in the building after Perimeter School dismisses. Perimeter Ballet provides quality dance education and is committed to helping students grow in integrity and character. For more information, email ballet@perimeter.org.

Discipleship and membership at perimeter church

Perimeter Church offers discipleship groups for all ages and stages - men, women, and children. These groups enhance the depth of our covenant life here at Perimeter School, providing an even greater richness in “doing life” together. If you are interested in joining (or leading!) a group yourself or if you are interested in a group for your child, click here for more information and to register. Groups are still being formed, and the ministry year will begin in the fall.

If you are interested in children's membership at Perimeter Church, the next Children's Membership Class is Saturday, November 9. Click here for more information and to register.
