I would not be who I am today without being at perimeter School.

By: Caden gaskins, PERIMETER SCHOOL alum

We recently caught up with several of our Perimeter School alumni, and we are excited to share with you how Perimeter School has influenced their stories and how God is using them for kingdom impact.

Our next alumni spotlight is Caden Gaskins, Perimeter School Class of 2012.

What do you do? Where do you live?

I live in Alpharetta, Georgia where I run a landscaping company.

How Did your time at Perimeter School influencE who you are and what you do today?

I can honestly say I would not be who I am today or have the faith I have today without being at Perimeter School.

From first through eighth grade, I was surrounded by like-minded teachers and students who encouraged me to live my life in accordance with God’s plan for me and in a way that glorifies Him. Not one specific thing stands out to me in relation to this, but the consistency and the leadership of each of my teachers made it easy to want to follow the Lord.

"If it weren't for Perimeter School, I wouldn't know . . .”

If it weren’t for Perimeter School, I would not know how to fully and firmly place my identity in Jesus Christ. I know this to be true because in everything we did, field trips, class projects, arts festivals to name some, we were learning how to take on the world with the Word. I am eternally grateful for that.

In what ways is the work you are doing now spiritually and culturally Significant?

In my day job, I help to maintain God’s beautiful creation! In addition, I have spent my years since graduating from Perimeter School investing in different youth groups and small groups where I am able to pour back into the generation below me as I was poured into throughout my time at Perimeter.

It is a privilege and an honor to take some truth that I learned while at Perimeter School and relay it to middle and high school students today.
