We asked each student to reflect on his/her time at Perimeter School. We are excited to share some of their responses with you! This is just a small glimpse into the hearts of the class of 2022.
What is Something You Accomplished This year that you are proud of?
BROOKE CLEMENTS: Something I accomplished this year that I am proud of is that I was a part of the FCA Leadership Team. At the first FCA meeting of the year, we raised around $400. I am proud of leading something that people look forward to attending.
NICOLAS SCARFO: I am proud of running track this year. I accomplished a great track season, breaking many personal records when I ran.
LAILA GAINES: I am proud of how far I have come as an artist. I have grown so much and can confidently show my art.
What was the most challenging part of this year for you? How did you grow from this challenge?
LUKE WILSON: One very challenging thing this year was balancing school, sports, and friends. I had to learn that sometimes I need to choose homework or sleep over other, more fun things.
PAYTON USERY: The most challenging subject this year was Science. I grew from this challenge by going in for extra help and asking good questions.
HUDSON BAIRD: The most challenging part was probably managing my time throughout all my classes and assignments. The most challenging unit was probably the Language Arts unit on short stories. I grew from this by perfecting my analytical skills.
Of all the books you read during your time at perimeter school, which was your favorite? Why?
ALLIE GODFREY: One of my favorite books that we read would be Tom Sawyer because the plot was very interesting, and Mrs. Lee did an amazing job switching up different ways to read it in class.
OLIVIA REE: Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was one of my favorites. I liked the scary elements and the chilling mystery.
RYLIE RICHARDSON: Sam the Minuteman from second grade because we got to do a play about it!
Which Person at our school has made the biggest impact in your life? Why?
KAMRYN SMITH: Mrs. Bonaventure has made the biggest impact on me this year. I would love to be a teacher one day, and I use her as an example.
RYAN STANLEY: Coach Jenkins! He helped me grow as an athlete and also as a person.
KADY HARVEY: The person that has made the biggest impact in my life would be Mrs. Edmondson. Whenever I am going through a hard time or struggling, I know that I can talk to her.
