Let Our Light Shine
By: Jeremy Case, Head of School
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16
Let our light shine
As we end another school year, I am deeply grateful for our families and teachers who have worked together to live out our mission in ways that are so powerful. Throughout the triumphs and trials of this school year, the Perimeter School covenant community has emanated the goodness and glory of God in our homes, classrooms, and church each and every day. We are grateful for a school community who together in covenant continues to shine brightly the light and love of Jesus.
I hope our fellowship as a covenant family this year leaves you expectant for all that God has planned for us next year.
May the coming months be filled with an abundance of joy and refreshing fellowship as together we continue to let our light shine brightly before others.
I pray that the light of Christ shines more fully and the love of Christ is experienced more deeply as we journey through this next year together.
This summer, let’s prioritize time to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and the grandeur of the Living Word.
When a drink pours out it spills off the table sometimes, it can be messy, but we are called to pour ourselves out like a drink.
Our children will innately know what worship is when we make worship a habit.
Being able to use language freely in this way will help students to gain new perspectives on life and ordinary experiences and reflect the God-given gift of creativity.
My teachers didn’t only care about what I learned, they cared about who I was as a child of God.
Jesus is the Resurrection from the brokenness surrounding us and within us and the Life that meets our needs, wants, and desires more than anything this world offers.
The study of the Bible in our school sets the tone for having a biblical worldview in all other subjects.
Reading, more than any other educational practice, impacts our ability to learn, understand, think, apply, and lead.
God’s message to the powerless? “I am with you.”
