A Story of Fellowship and Hope

At Perimeter School, we strive to give our students a feast of opportunities to explore and develop the gifts and talents that God has given them.
This Thursday and Friday, Perimeter School Drama will present Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol.
We asked the cast and crew to share their thoughts about this story, working on the show, and how God is using them in this production. We are excited to share their answers with you!
What does the story of Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol mean to you?
RILEY LONGSHORE (Grade 6, Ensemble): “The story of Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol means that no matter who you are, you can always change.”
BENNETT RICHARDSON (Grade 7, Ensemble): “This story means that we should remember to be kind to everyone because no one is better than anyone else.”
What has being a part of Perimeter Drama been like for you?
WILSON HARWELL (Grade 7, Tiny Tim): “For me, the drama program has been the most fun experience at Perimeter School.”
KATHLEEN MOODY (Grade 8, Winnifred): “Being in Perimeter Drama has been a wonderful and enriching experience. The things I have learned through this program have not only improved my acting but also strengthened my courage in other activities.”
EMMA LOGAN (Grade 5, Ensemble): “Being a part of the show is super fun, and I encourage other students to try out next year!”
What have you learned from working on this show?
KADEN GARNETT (Grade 8, Ensemble): “I’ve learned how to project my voice, act well, and stay in character throughout the play.”
What has been your favorite part of working on this show?
ELLA ABREGO (Grade 7, Ensemble): “I love getting to know new friends and learning new skills. I also like that we get to perform for our friends.”
HAILEY COYNE (Grade 7, Ensemble): “My favorite part of working on the show is meeting people and putting myself out there.”
CAROLINE ADAMS (Grade 5, Ensemble): “My favorite part of being in the show is how we get to learn more about acting.”
SOPHIE ABREGO (Grade 6, Ensemble): “My favorite part of being in this show is growing in my relationships with friends because everyone has been so nice to me, and it has been super fun!”
DARCY MAGEE (Grade 6, Ensemble): “I have enjoyed all the funny things that happen at rehearsal and getting to be with all my friends.”
What part of the show are you most excited for audiences to see?
COOPER CASE (Grade 7, Bob Cratchit): “I am most excited for audiences to see Scrooge. He will definitely make you laugh!”
WILLIAM MCNAIR (Grade 6, Pie Seller): “The numerous hoop skirts … I think they look funny.”
BECKETT AMBUEHL (Grade 7, Scrooge): “I can’t wait for the audience to see the Ghost of Christmas Future scene!”
Why should people come to see Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol?
SYDNEY HUTCHENS (Grade 8, Book Seller): “People should see Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol because it is a story about being brought together by fellowship and hope - something our world needs.”
JUDE ADAMS (Grade 7, Tech): “The show is very well done. It’s guaranteed to make you laugh!”
WHITAKER PEARSON (Grade 6, Ensemble): “People should come because I think it’s a fun way to get to know other people and for parents to see their students perform.”
Perimeter School Drama presents Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, a clever reimagining of the classic by Charles Dickens. Tiny Tim is determined to have his father home for Christmas Day, even if it means teaching Ebenezer Scrooge a lesson in the Christmas spirit! With the help of some kindly friends from the market, Tiny Tim stages a spectacle Scrooge will never forget!
Join us on November 2 at 4:00 PM and November 3 at 4:00 and 7:00 PM in The Hanger. Tickets are $8. We will be accepting both cash and credit card payments at the door, or you can purchase tickets in advance here.
